As promised, I'm sharing the information of the company we went ahead with for the removal of our plum tree. My point of contact was Adam S. Das at Pro Arbor (I've copied him on this email). He gave us a great estimate compared to the other four places that I researched, and his crew was professional, on-time and knowledgeable. They did a great job removing the tree, grinding the stump and removing the debris. They took care to clean around in the street as well.
I would highly recommend them to all our neighbors and friends. If you have the opportunity to do some cost comparisons, they may save the association some money too.
This weekend we'll be planting and working on the front yard before moving to the deck/backyard (you may see me again with our next project plans). Thanks again for all your help in moving this process along quickly.
